Answer:

community

Explanation:

Community refers to a group of populations of different species that live together in a defined habitat. These species exhibit interdependence for one or other resources. It is a level of the ecological organization just above the population and consists of hundreds of different types of organisms of various species.

Butterflies and flowering plants belong to different species. Butterflies are dependent on these plants for food. Therefore, these two together represent two populations of different species living together in habitat and are an ecological community.

What is soil erosion? What are the effects of soil erosion? How can we prevent soil erosion?
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

you can prevent it by mulching, maintaining a healthy, perennial plant cover, planting a cover crop, or placing stones and woodchips. Soil erosion is displacement of the upper layer of soil. The effects of soil erosion go beyond the loss of fertile land. It has led to increased pollution and sedimentation in streams and rivers, clogging these waterways and causing declines in fish and other species. And degraded lands are also often less able to hold onto water, which can worsen flooding.
