Ok for number 2 it wants to know what was the average number of newspaper per week Alexis delivered during the 4 years.

First write down what we know:
Number of papers delivered per year
(1) 31
(2) 55
(3) 60
(4) 78
Now add 31,55,60,78 and then divide by 4
\frac{31 + 55 + 60 + 78}{4} = 56

Answer:
For the four years Alexis delivered 56 papers per week

Number 4:
Thomas caught 24 fish in total. He then gave 6 to his mother and then divided the rest of the fish between his two aunts. It want to know how many fish did each aunt get.

He had 24 the he gave 6 away so we have 24 - 6 = 18 fish left. Now he divide the rest 18 between his two aunts so 18 / 2 = 9. This mean each aunt received 9 fish each.

Recall that two angles are complementary if the sum of their measures is 90°. Find the measures of two complementary angles if o
nordsb [41]

Answer:

18° and 72°

Step-by-step explanation:

The angle measures are unknown, so they will be represented with the variable, x. Since, one angle is 4 times the other, this will be represented with 4x.

To find complementary angles, they are added together and equal 90. So let's create an equation.

x + 4x = 90

Now solve for x.

5x = 90

5x/5 = 90/5

x = 18

One angle is 18°.

Now find the second angle.

4x

plugin 18 for x and multiply

4(18) = 72

What is the explicit formula for this sequence -7, -4, -1, 2, 5
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

\large\boxed{a_n=3n-10}

Step-by-step explanation:

It's an arithmetic sequence.

-4-(-7)=-4+7=3\\-1-(-4)=-1+4=3\\2-(-1)=2+1=3\\5-2=3

The difference is constant.

The explicit formula of an arithmetic sequence:

a_n=a_1+(n-1)d

Substitute:

a_1=-7,\ d=3

a_n=-7+(n-1)(3)          use distributive property

a_n=-7+3n-3\\\\a_n=3n+(-7-3)\\\\a_n=3n-10

Help me plss need help with theses three
fiasKO [112]
interior angle of a regular 18-gon.
It is easier to calculate the exterior angle of a regular polygon of n-sides (n-gon) by the relation
exterior angle = 360/n
For a 18-gon, n=18, so exterior angle = 360/18=20 °
The value of each interior angle is therefore the supplement, or
Interior angle = 180-20=160 degrees.

Naming of a 9-gon
A polygon with 9 vertices is called a nonagon (in English) or enneagon (French ennéagone, but the English version is sometimes used)
You had a good start with the correct answer.

Exterior angle of a 15-gon
The exterior angle of a 15-gon can be calculated using the relation given in the first paragraph, namely
Exterior angle = 360/15=24 degrees
