A particle (charge = 5.0 μC) is released from rest at a point x = 10 cm on the x-axis. If a 5.0-μC charge is held fixed at the o

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

Two charges with charge Q=5\ \mu C

When the first charge is at x=10\ cm on the x-axis and another at x=0 (origin)

there is only Potential Energy

Total Energy(E)=Kinetic Energy(K)+Potential Energy(U)

U_i=\frac{kQ\cdot Q}{r}

U_i=\frac{9\times 10^9\times (5\times 10^{-6})^2}{0.1}

U_i=2.25\ J

E=2.25

When First charge is at x=90

There will be both Kinetic energy and potential Energy

U_f=\frac{kQ\cdot Q}{r}

U_f=\frac{9\times 10^9\times (5\times 10^{-6})^2}{0.9}

U_f=0.25\ J

As total Energy is constant therefore Kinetic Energy is

k=E-U_f

k=2.25-0.25=2\ J

Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

change of momentum does not depend on the mass of the cars, as the force and time are the same all vehicles have the same change of momentum

Explanation:

Let's look for the speed of the car

     F = m a

    a = F / m

We use kinematics to find lips

    v = v₀ + a t

    v = v₀ + (F / m) t

The moment is defined by

    p = m v

The moment change

    Δp = m v - m v₀

Let's replace the speeds in this equation

    Δp = m (v₀ + F / m t) - m v₀

    Δp = m v₀  + F t - m v₀

    Δp = F t

We see that the change of momentum does not depend on the mass of the cars, as the force and time are the same all vehicles have the same change of momentum

A racecar experiences a centripetal acceleration of 36.0 m/s2 as it travels at a constant speed of 27.0 m/s along a circular arc
alexdok [17]

Answer:

20.25 m

Explanation:

  • <u>Centripetal acceleration </u>is given by; the square of the velocity, divided by the radius of the circular path.

That is;

         <em><u>ac = v²/r</u></em>

<em>         </em><em><u> Where; ac = acceleration, centripetal, m/s², v is the velocity, m/s and r is the  radius, m</u></em>

Therefore;

r = v²/ac

  = 27²/36

  = 20.25 m

Hence the radius is 20.25 meters

What make molecules
UNO [17]

Answer:

Molecules are made up of atoms that are held together by chemical bonds. These bonds form as a result of the sharing or exchange of electrons among atoms. The atoms of certain elements readily bond with other atoms to form molecules. ... The element helium is a one-atom molecule. I hope this helps :)

A uniform, solid, 2000.0 kgkg sphere has a radius of 5.00 mm. Find the gravitational force this sphere exerts on a 2.10 kgkg poi
mars1129 [50]

Answer:

0.0110284391534\ N

0.0653784219002\ N

Explanation:

G = Gravitational constant = 6.67 × 10⁻¹¹ m³/kgs²

m_1 = Mass of sphere = 2000 kg

m_2 = Mass of other sphere = 2.1 kg

r = Distance between spheres

Force of gravity is given by

F=\dfrac{Gm_1m_2}{r^2}\\\Rightarrow F=\dfrac{6.67\times 10^{-11}\times 2000\times 2.1}{(5.04\times 10^{-3})^2}\\\Rightarrow F=0.0110284391534\ N

The gravitational force is 0.0110284391534\ N

F=\dfrac{Gm_1m_2}{r^2}\\\Rightarrow F=\dfrac{6.67\times 10^{-11}\times 2000\times 2.1}{(2.07\times 10^{-3})^2}\\\Rightarrow F=0.0653784219002\ N

The gravitational force is 0.0653784219002\ N

IN THIS FORMULA FOR WATER WHAT DOES THE SUBSCRIPT 2 INDICATE
masha68 [24]
The chemical formular for water is H2O.
The H aspect of the formula stands for hydrogen gas and the subscript 2 which is attached to the H symbol signifies that two atoms of hydrogen are joined together, that is two atom of hydrogen are present.
The chemical formula of water indicates that, two atom of hydrogen react with one atom of oxygen to form one molecule of water.
In chemical formulae, subscripts are normally used to indicate the number of atoms that are present in a molecule.
