What is the answer to this 6.7w- (-3)w = -5?

Simplify brackets
6.7w+3w=-5

Simplify 6.7w+3w to 9.7
9.7w=-59

Divide both sides by 9.7

w= - 5/9.7

And IDK if you need to simplify it or not but if you do it would be,

6.7w - (-3)w = -5

42w + 3w = -5

45w = -5

w = -5/45

w = -1/9

Hope this helps!

NARA [144]
To make a frequency table, you will need to find the lowest and highest average number of movies.

Numbers go from 0.5 to 4.5.
And example of frequencies you could use are:

0-0.9 (1)
1-1.9(5)
2-2.9(5)
3-3.9(2)
4-4.9(1)

The frequencies are in parentheses beside the intervals.

Help. The problem is in the picture
inn [45]

Answer:

The answer to your question is y = 2/3x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Equation     y = 2/3 x + 5

New line = ?

Process

Two lines are parallel if the have the same slope. The slope is the coefficient of the x.

1.- Get the slope of the original line

                y = 2/3x + 5

   slope = 2/3

2.- Two find the equation of a parallel line we need to point I will use (0, 4)

Use the point slope formula

               y - y1 = m(x - x1)

               y - 4 = 2/3(x - 0)

               y - 4 = 2/3 x

              y = 2/3x + 4

I'm not sure if it will work, but try downloading the Slader app. I hear that many people use it to look up text book answers and stuff like that.

A laundry owner's estimate of her weekly profits, is given by the equation p=-4w2+160w, where w represent the number of workers
kirza4 [7]

Answer:

Number of workers = 20.

Step-by-step explanation:

p = - 4w^2 + 160 w

We need to find the value of w when p is a maximum.

We need to convert the equation to vertex form:

p = -4w^2 + 160w

p = -4(x^2 - 40w)

p = -4 [ (x - 20)^2 - 400]

p =  -4(x - 20)^2 + 1600.

So the vertex is at (20 , 1600)

The maximum profit is 1600 and the number of workers = 20.
