Square - a rectangle (4 sided shape) whose sides are equal length

Rectangle - a polygon that has 4 sides and 4 right angles - two pairs of parallel lines

Triangle: a polygon with 3 sides and 3 angles. The angles add up to a total of 180 degrees. There are 3 kinds of triangles

Parallelogram - a polygon with 4 sides, 2 pair of parallel lines, 2 obtuse angles and 2 acute angles.

Trapezoid - a polygon with 4 sides and only 1 pair of parallel lines

Circle: a shape with no sides, angles, or parallel lines. Any point in the circumference to the center of the circle is the same length.

Happy to help!

Answer:

1). Triangle - Has 3 equal sides and angles of 60°.

2). Square - A quadrilateral with 4 equal sides and angles (all the angles are right angles).

3). Rectangle - A quadrilateral with 2 equal parallel sides horizontal and vertical. All the angles are equal because they are right angles.

4). Pentagon - It has 5 equal sides with equal angles of 108°.

5). Hexagon - It has 6 equal sides with equal angles of 120°.

PROPERTIES OF A CIRCLE:

It has no sides with no angles. The radius in any direction from the point are of the same length.

In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

D

0.4

Step-by-step explanation:

P(A)=0.6

P(B)=0.3

P(B∩A)=0.5

P(A∪B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A∩B)

P(A or B)=P(A∪B)=0.6+0.3-0.5=0.9-0.5=0.4

Jim wants to buy an electric saw marked $98.00. If the salesperson offers him a discount of 15%, how much will he have to pay fo
Schach [20]
Since the discount is 15%, that means that they will pay 85% of the original price ( 100% - 15% = 85%).

Multiply the original price by 85% to find the discounted price:

98.00 x 0.85 = 83.30

They will pay $83.30 for the saw.

How will you find the distance between these two points using Pythagorean theorem?
kow [346]
R represents radius or the distance between two points, the pythagorean expression will be
r² = Δx² + Δy²
Δ means the change, Δx means the change of x, Δy means the change of y

Given:
(x₁,y₁) = (-5,-1)
(x₂,y₂) = (0,2)

Input the numbers to the expression
r² = Δx² + Δy²
r² = (x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²
r² = (0 + 5)² + (2 + 1)²
r² = 5² + 3²
r² = 25 + 9
r² = 34
r = √34

The distance is √34 unit length

Which statement correctly describes the graph of y = x + 7?
Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

see the explanation

The graph in the attached figure

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y=x+7

This is the equation of a line in slope intercept form

y=mx+b

m=1\\b=7

therefore

The slope is positive

The y-intercept is the point (0,7)--->  (value of x when the value of y is equal to zero)

The x-intercept is the point (-7,0) --->  (value of y when the value of x is equal to zero)

To graph the line plot the intercepts and join the points

see the attached figure
