if the water is still turning into vapor from condensation it will turn to rain eventually but it cant be evaporated if heat cant get the water think as a air bubble the air remains until it pops or if its frozen in ice it will remain till the water melts and exposes the air to the world again.

They go through something called the Water Cycle,

First, they will go through the Evaporation Step where the water will evaporate into a gas and raise into the clouds.

Then, they will go through the Condensation Step where the Vapor that went into the clouds will cool down and turn back into liquid water.

Next, they will go through the Precipitation Step where the Water (which can be Rain Hail snow or Sleet) will fall out of the clouds.

Finally, all of the fallen water will collect into Lakes, Oceans, Rivers, Streams and sometimes water under the ground.

The vapor pressure of water at 25.0°C is 23.8 torr. Determine the mass of glucose (molar mass = 180 g/mol) needed to add to 500.
mrs_skeptik [129]

According to Raoult's law the relative lowering of vapour pressure of a solution made by dissolving non volatile solute is equal to the mole fraction of the non volatile solute dissolved.

the relative lowering of vapour pressure is the ratio of lowering of vapour pressure and vapour pressure of pure solvent

\frac{p^{0-}p}{p^{0}}=x_{B}

Where

xB = mole fraction of solute=?

p^{0}=23.8torr

p = 22.8 torr

x_{B}=\frac{23.8-22.8}{23.8}=0.042

mole fraction is ratio of moles of solute and total moles of solute and solvent

moles of solvent = mass / molar mass = 500 /18 = 27.78 moles

putting the values

molefraction=\frac{molessolute}{molesolute+molessolvent}

0.042=\frac{molessolute}{27.78+molessolute}

1.167+0.042(molesolute)=molessolute

molessolute=1.218

mass of glucose = moles X molar mass = 1.218 X 180 = 219.24 grams

Binary molecular (covalent) compounds are formed as the result of a reaction between two nonmetals. Although there are no ions i
ollegr [7]

Answer:

Binary molecular compounds are the compounds consisting of two non-metallic elements. Examples of binary molecular compounds include: NO2, HCl, HF, P2O5 e.t.c.

Rules For Naming Binary Molecular Compounds

Naming binary molecular compounds is quite easy,

1. The first element is given its name.

2. The second element is given its root name (such as, hydro, carb,ox, chlor e.t.c.) followed by suffix ide.

Name of N2O4 - Dinitrogen tetraoxide

Chemical Formula of;

iodic acid: HI

disulfur trioxide: S2O3

dinitrogen monoxide: N2O

hydrofluoric acid: HF

Difference between Binary acid and an oxyacid

An oxyacid is an acid consisting of an oxygen atom bonded to a hydrogen atom and at least one other non-metallic element. Examples of oxyacids include HNO3, H2SO4 e.t.c.

Binary acids are the acids consisting of hydrogen atom bonded to a non-metallic element. Examples include HF, HCl, HI e.t.c.

Fill in the coefficients that will balance the following reaction a0h2so4 + a1koh → a2k2so4 + a3hoh
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
A0 = 1
a1 = 2
a2 = 1
a3 = 2

This can be solved by guessing and checking and making sure that all atoms on the left side are accounted for on the right side. Both sides must have the same amount of atoms or the balancing is not correct.
