e, and it costs him $300 per week for general expenses. He earns $850 per week in sales. What is the minimum number of weeks it will take for Eduardo to make a profit?
850w < 7500 + 300w

Answer: 850w > 7500 + 300w

Step-by-step explanation:

Let w be the total weeks of selling

Given: Eduardo spent $7500 to obtain his merchandise

costs of general expenses per week=$300

⇒  costs of general expenses for 'w' weeks= 300w

⇒ Total cost = $7500+$300w

Earning by him per week=$850

Earning by him in 'w' weeks=$850w

According to the given situation, is the minimum number of weeks it will take for Eduardo to make a profit is given by

Total earning > Total costs   [∵Profit = earning- cost]

850w > 7500 + 300w

<u>Answer</u>:

A. y = \frac{-2}{3}x + 3

<u>Explanation</u>:

slope: \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

         : \frac{1-3}{3-0}

         : \frac{-2}{3}

equation: y - y1 = m( x - x1 )

                y - 1 = \frac{-2}{3}( x - 3 )

                y = \frac{-2}{3}x + 3
