Put 0 in for y to get the x-intercepts

3x + 2y = 7
Put 0 in for y
3x + 2(0) = 7
Simplify
3x = 7
Divide both sides by 3
x = 2.333...
The x-intercept is at the point (2.333, 0)

Put 0 in for y
2x + 3(0) = 7
Simplify
2x = 7
Divide both sides by 2
x = 3.5
The x-intercept is at the point (3.5, 0)

Y= 0 would be perpendicular because it's a horizontal line, and x= 12 is a vertical line
X=0 would be parallel because they are both vertical lines
I don't see a diagram, but if the portion of the tennis region you are asked to analyze doesn't intersect anywhere else/any other regions pertaining to other sports, wouldn't the sport chosen by these students be solely tennis?
