Responses may vary but should include some or all of the following information:Observational learning did occur. Although Kiki was not able to hit the ball, she was able to successfully replicate the behavior of swinging the bat, which means that she retained how to perform the behavior in her mind. She was also able to imitate the goal of the behavior, demonstrated by swinging the bat at the baseball instead of another target and was motivated to do it by her attempts at trying to hit the ball.

Answer: Observational learning was present

Explanation: Observational learning is the learning process that is based on observation of events and people. An individual watches and focuses on the action of other individual , retains it in mind and then tries to perform the same activity by him/herself.

According to the mentioned situation, Kiki did follow the observational learning even though is missed the baseball shot. She observed her father swinging the bat to hit the ball .She tried the same activity by replicating it herself when her father handovered the bat to her.

She repeated the same act of swinging bat and tried hitting the ball even if the shot was missed , this signifies that observational learning was present in Kiki from watching her father.
