For this question you can say:
10/2 = a/a-9 is equal to 2a = 10a - 90
so now you should add -10a on both sides:
2a -10a = -90 ⇒ -8a = -90 ⇒ a = -90/-8 ⇒ a = 11.25 :)))
i hope this is helpful
have a nice day

10/2= a/a-9

10/2=a/a+-9

Multiply all terms by a and cancel

10a/2 = a+-9a

Simplify both sides of the equation

5a= -8a

Add 8a to both sides

5a+8a= -8a+8a

13a=0

Divide both sides by 13

13a/13=0/13

a= 0

Answer : No solution

I hope that's help !

A gardener already has four and one over 2 ft of fencing in his garage. He wants to fence in a square garden for his flowers. Th
NikAS [45]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

6\frac{1}{2}<u>, "six and one over two ft".</u>

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

Let's considerate the fact that the garden has a <u>square shape</u>.

<h3>1. Finding values of interest.</h3>

Amount of fence that the gardener already has: 4\frac{1}{2} ft.

Length of one side: 2\frac{3}{4} ft.

If one side measures 2\frac{3}{4} ft, and the square garden has 4 sides of equal length, because it's a square, then we must multiply the measure of one side by 4 to find the total length of fence needed:

4*(2\frac{3}{4})=\\ \\4*(2+\frac{3}{4})=\\ \\(4*2)+(4*\frac{3}{4})=\\ \\8+(\frac{12}{4} )=\\ \\8+3=\\ \\11

<h3>2. How much more does he need?</h3>

The gardener already has  4\frac{1}{2} , which equals 4 + \frac{1}{2}. Hence, the difference between the amount needed and the amount that the gardeneralready has will give us the remaining amount required. Let's do that:

11-(4+\frac{1}{2} )=\\ \\11-(\frac{8}{2} +\frac{1}{2} )=\\ \\11-\frac{9}{2}= \\ \\\frac{22}{2} -\frac{9}{2}=\\\\ \frac{13}{2}

<h3>3. Express your result.</h3>

\frac{13}{2} =\\ \\\frac{2}{2} +\frac{2}{2} +\frac{2}{2} +\frac{2}{2} +\frac{2}{2} +\frac{2}{2} +\frac{1}{2}= \\ \\6+\frac{1}{2}=\\ \\6\frac{1}{2}

MakcuM [25]

Answer:

solution given:

volume of lower one[V1]=l×b×h=1.5×0.5×0.5=0.378m³

volume of upper one [V2]=l×b×h=1×0.5×(0.75-0.5)=

0.125m³

total volume=V1+V2=0.378m³+0.125m³=0.503m³

0.503m³ is your answer

Identify the range of the function. A) (2, 8) B) [2, 8] C) (−5, 9) D) [−5, 9]
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

The answer is "Option A"

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain is the collection of the value, which belongs to the separate variable (horizontal axis). So, to find a region with a graph, it must search for the function, which starts and end. And at all these levels we are searching at x-values.

Its starting point is (2,9) and the ending point is (8,3).  Therefore, x= 2 to x=8 is the domain.
