What kind of materials did the ancient Greeks use in ordinary homes?
natima [27]
The ancient Greeks actually lived in houses made of dried mud bricks. Unfortunately, their walls are not very strong. It was common for houses to be broken into pieces, and most had to be renovated. The roofs of the houses are covered with mud panels and the windows are small and covered with wooden shutters.

What are pros and cons of propaganda
tino4ka555 [31]
There's not really any pros for propaganda because essentially what you are doing is lying to get someone to believe something. I guess you could say a pro is that gullible people will believe you, but that's an unethical pro. The cons are that it usually causes much controversy in a society where there's not supposed to be a bias in the government. Propaganda in its true form is never a good thing. It is unethical in the sense that it takes advantage of people who are too lazy to do research and quick to believe what someone tells them. One example I like to use is many of these independent "news" websites. On both ends of the political spectrum, left and right, you find websites that have articles so heavily weighed down with that wings propaganda that true news becomes less and less visible. Occupy Democrats is one textbook example of that. Their articles are so left leaning that you read an article and are immediately left with a left leaning impression. Same goes for a lot of right wing websites. I'm not going to say "always" but propaganda 99.9 percent of the time is not good. Instead of people doing their own research to decide their view on something, propaganda tells people what they should think versus the asking people what they think

Gnoma [55]

Answer:

A control should have been included in the investigation

Explanation:

It is impossible for the student to interpret a correct conclusion about his experiment, without adding a control treatment where he can really compare the differences between the variables.

Control treatment is an element of research that receives all factors, except the variable being tested. The control serves to make comparisons with the other treatments, allowing to observe the exact difference between a system where the variable was tested and the system where it was not.

In the case of the question above, it would have been necessary for the student to have placed a cart on a ramp of normal height and without sandpaper. That way he could compare the speed between this cart and the carts on the other ramps, thus having a correct result.

The width property of border-box model that tells the browser to account for any content, border and padding space in the values specify for an element's width and height. For example If an element's width is 200 pixels, that 200 pixels will include any content, border or padding added and the content box will shrink to absorb the extra and any space taken up by the padding and border is subtracted from space given to the content.
