Answer:

i) Apples received by Esi = 360

ii) Apples received by Yaw = 240

Apples received by Kwabena = 200

Step-by-step explanation:

Total apples =  800

Apples received by Kwabena = (1/4) of 800

=\frac{1}{4}*800\\

Apples received by Kwabena= 200 apples

Remaining apples = 800 - 200 = 600 apples

Ratio of apples shared by Esi and Yaw = 3 : 2

Total share = 3 + 2 = 5

Esi's share = 3/5 of 800

=\frac{3}{5}*600\\=3*120

Esi's share = 360 apples

ii) Yaw's share = 600 - 360 = 240 apples

never [62]

Hi! The temperature would be 18°.

There was a 4 hour period between 5 and 9 a.m.

So, I just took -10, and added 7 four times.

-10 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 18

Hope this helps you! Happy thanksgiving, here's a turkey!

Prove that <br><img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=4cot45%20%5E%7B2%7D%20%20-%203tan%20%5E%7B2%7D%2060%20%2B%202sec%20%5E%7B2%7D60
sesenic [268]

Answer:

4 \cot {}^{2} (45) - 3 \tan {}^{2} (60) + 2 \sec {}^{2} (60) = 3 \\

LHS = 4 \cot {}^{2} (45)  - 3 \tan {}^{2} (60)  + 2 \sec {}^{2} (60)  \\

let us first take a look at the values of the trigonometric ratios given in the question so that we get quite clear about what is to be done.

here ,

\cot(45) = 1 \\ \\ \tan(60) = \sqrt{3} \\ \\ \sec(60) = 2

now ,

we just have to plug in the values considering certain other things given in the question and we're done!

so let's start ~

4(1) {}^{2} - 3( \sqrt{3} ) {}^{2} + 2(2) {}^{2} \\ \\ \dashrightarrow \: 4(1) - 3(3) + 2(4) \\ \\ \dashrightarrow \: 4 - 9 + 8 \\\\ \dashrightarrow \: 12 - 9 \\ \\\dashrightarrow \: 3 = RHS

hence , proved ~

hope helpful :D
