To write 2.93 as a fraction you have to write 2.93 as numerator and put 1 as the denominator. Now you multiply numerator and denominator by 10 as long as you get in numerator the whole number.
2.93 = 2.93/1 = 29.3/10 = 293/100

And finally we have:
2.93 as a fraction equals 293/100

magine that you are conducting a one-variable chi-square test to investigate the hypothesis that there are equal numbers of cat
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

a. 135 is correct

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the following information:

dogs lover: 150

cats lover: 120

as the null hypothesis:

H, there are equal number of dogs lover and cats lover, so the expected frequency in each cell will be equal and that is:

f = (150 + 120) / 2

f = 270/2 = 135

so option a. 135 is correct

Do the law of order and the law of grouping apply to subtraction?
emmasim [6.3K]

Since we know that law of order states that sum or product of any two specific numbers will be same irrespective to their order.  a+b=b+a and a*b=b*a .

Law of order is only applicable for addition and multiplication. It is not applicable to subtraction and division. Let us see it by an example.

50-25\neq25-50

25\neq-25

Law of grouping states that it does not matter how to order a group of numbers while adding or multiplying. a+(b+c)=(a+b)+c and a*(b*c)=(a*b)*c.

Law of grouping is not applicable to subtraction and division. Let us see it by an example.

15-(5-3)\neq(15-5)-3

15-(2)\neq(10)-3

13\neq7

Therefore, we can see that law of order and law of grouping is not applicable to subtraction.

One angle of a rhombus is 108 degrees and the shorter diagonal is 9 inches long. How long is the side of the rhombus
valkas [14]
Now, for a rhombus, all sides are the same length, and the diagonals bisect the vertex they cut, so they cut them in halves, and they also meet at right-angles, and cut each other in halves as well

that means, if the angle is 108, the shorter diagonal will cut that in two equal angles, of 54 each, check the picture below

and since they each other cut in halves where they meet, one side of the shorter diagonal will then be half of 9, or 9/2 or 4.5

since the angle is in degrees, make sure your calculator is in Degree mode
