Answer:

Time spend doing math home work is 0.6 hour

Time spend doing English home work is0.6 hour

Time spend doing history home work is  0.9 hour

Time spend doing social studies home work is 0.3 hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of time spend by Timothy while doing math, english, history, and social studies homework :2:2:3:1

Let the time spend doing math home work be 2x

Let the time spend doing English home work be 2x

Let the time spend doing history home work be 3x

Let the time spend doing social studies home work be 1x

Total time spend by timothy  = 2.4 hours

2x+2x+3x+1x=2.4 hours

8x=2.4 hours

x = 0.3 hours

Time spend doing math home work =2x = 2 × 0.3 hour = 0.6 hour

Time spend doing English home work =2x =  2 × 0.3 hour = 0.6 hour

Time spend doing history home work =3x = 3 × 0.3 hour = 0.9 hour

Time spend doing social studies home work =1x = 1 × 0.3 hour = 0.3 hour

There are 8 parts in total by adding the ratio.  Math 2/8×2.4=0.6 hr Eng. 2/8×2.4=0.6 hr Hist. 3/8×2.4=0.9hr Social. 1/8×2.4=0.3 hr.  Add them all will get 2.4

in the given kite SZ= 10yards , WZ = 10 yards TZ=12 yards , and RZ=32 yards Determine the area of the kite
Fynjy0 [20]

If we assume the given segments are those from the vertices to the point of intersection of the diagonals, it seems one diagonal (SW) is 20 yards long and the other (TR) is 44 yards long. The area (A) of the kite is half the product of the diagonals:

... A = (1/2)·SW·TR = (1/2)·(20 yd)·(44 yd)

... A = 440 yd²

Somebody please prove if a triangle with side length of 6,8,10 is a right triangle using the Pythagorean theorem!! Will mark Bra
BabaBlast [244]
Answer:
Pythagorean’s theorem states that if a^2 + b^2 = c^2 where c is the hypotenuse and a and b are the side lengths of the right triangle

Given that we can plug in
a= 6 , b = 8 , c = 10

We get an equation:

6^2 + 8^2 = 10^2
36 + 64 = 100
100 = 100

Complete the equation of the line through (-9,-9)(−9,−9)left parenthesis, minus, 9, comma, minus, 9, right parenthesis and (-6,0
saw5 [17]

Answer:

The equation of the line is;

y = 3x + 18

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to write the equation of the line through (-9,-9) and (-6,0)

we start by calculating the slope of the line

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (0+ 9)/(-6+9) = 9/3 = 3

The general equation of the line is;

y = mx + c

y = 3x + c

To get c, we use any of the points

we substitute for example -6 for x and 0 for y

0 = 3(-6) + c

c = 0 + 18 = 18

So the equation of the line is;

y = 3x + 18

The right isosceles triangle shown is rotated about line k with the base forming perpendicular to k. The perimeter of the triang
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

The new shape will be cone with a radius of 17 units, tilt height 24 and units of height k.

Step-by-step explanation:

The image related to the exercise is necessary, to be able to solve therefore the attached one.

We have the following information:

Perimeter of the triangle = 58 units

Hypotenuse = 24 units

We have that the other two sides are equal and have x units, therefore we have the following:

x + x + 24 = 58

2 * x = 58-24

2 * x = 34

x = 34/2

x = 17

Now the triangle rotates around line k , and then it will result in a cone, which is a three-dimensional shape.

Therefore, the new shape will be cone with a radius of 17 units, tilt height 24 and units of height k.
