Answer:

True

Explanation:

Although the rocket science and use of rockets in warfare goes back centuries, a great shift in the progress of rocket science occurred after the end of World War 2. During the World War 2, a lot of improvement was done in the rockets but it was mainly for the military purpose.

German scientist Wernher von Braun played a crucial role in development of V2, the first rocket capable of entering into SPACE if launched vertically. After the end of World War 2, US captured von Braun and other German rocket scientists and brought them to US and started Operation Paperclip. The technology of V2 rockets was used to develop the early USA rocket: Redstone rocket.

What physics concept underlies these three observations? When passing an oncoming truck on the highway, your car tends to sway t
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

The underlying principle is the bernoulli's principle of fluid flow which states that a slow moving air stream exerts more pressure than a faster moving air stream

Explanation:

The air stream between the car and the truck experiences more drag and therefore has a relatively higher speed than the air stream on the other side of the car, this means the air on the other side exerts more side force on the car, the net side force causes the car to swoop sideways towards the truck.

The same applies to a moving convertible car at high speed. The air outside has a higher relative velocity than the air inside the car. The inside air exerts more force on the canvass roof causing it to bulge upwards.

The windows of old train crack due to the pressure from the air within the old train which moves at a lower relative speed to that between the train and the speed train.

yaroslaw [1]

Question:

A cork floats on the surface of an incompressible liquid in a container exposed to atmospheric pressure. The container is then sealed and the air above the liquid is evacuated. The cork:

A. sinks slightly

B. rises slightly

C. floats at the same height

D. bobs up and down about its old position

Answer:

The correct answer is C)  floats at the same height

Explanation:

The liquid is incompressible because its density very high and leaves no room for further compaction whether or not there is atmospheric pressure. So when you put a cork on the liquid, pressure or no pressure, there is no displacement hence it floats on the same height regardless of the absence of air.

Cheers!

Una persona A tiene cierta cantidad de masa y una persona B tiene la mitad de masa de la persona A ¿como es el peso de B respect
musickatia [10]

Answer:

m_{B} = \frac{m_{A}}{2}  (2)

En donde:

m_{A}: es la masa de la persona A

Al introducir la ecuación (2) en (1) nos queda:

P_{B} = \frac{m_{A}}{2}g   (3)

Sabemos que el peso de la persona A está dado por:

P_{A} = m_{A}g   (4)

Entonces, al introducir la ecuación (4) en (3) tenemos:

P_{B} = \frac{P_{A}}{2}

Por lo tanto, el peso de la persona B es la mitad del peso de la persona A.
