3/5 is the answer because I cross multiplied 30 x 3 is 90 and 18 x 5 is 90

To simply this, you just divide the numerator and denominator by its GCF (Greatest common factor)

Factors of 18 : 1,2,3,6,9,18
Factors of 30 : 1,2,3,5,6,10,15,30
As you can see, the great common factors of 18 and 30 is 6.

So divide 18 by 6 and 30 by 6, and you get 3 and 5

Therefore, the simplest form is 3/5

Choose the axiom that allows x(10) to be written 10x.
Alina [70]
I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is the last option. The axiom that allows x(10) to be written 10x would be the commutative property of multiplication. It states that numbers can be added or multiplied in any order. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

Which triangles are congruent by SAS?
boyakko [2]

Answer:

Option A

Triangles ABC and TUV

Step-by-step explanation:

Given three triangles ABC , FGH and TUV

For triangles ABC and FGH, given that

DF =AB

DH = AC

and angle F = angle A

This cannot be taken as SAS congruence because the angle F is not included between the equal sides. Two triangles can be congruent by SAS only if two sides and included angle are congruent.

For triangles ABC and TUV we have AB=TU, AC = TV and

included angles between these sides are equal.

So these two triangles are congruent

We write corresponding sides only in order Hence ABC = TUV

and Not VTU =ABC

So option A is true.
