In a medicalseminar Dr. Rohith expressed his views on blood transfusion by saying "Hey friends during blood transfusion, any blo
Xelga [282]

Answer:

I agree and disagree with his statement.

Explanation:

We all know that the blood type AB is the universal recipient, so we know that this bloodtype can recieve any kind of blood. AB-type blood doesn't fight off anything because it has all of the antibodies needed. We also know that type O is the universal donor, meaning that this blood can be donated to anyone. This bloodtype doesn't have antibodies, so nothing will go wrong. However, for the other bloodtypes, yes, things have to be matched carefully. Type B blood can't be given type A blood, and so on. Another thing you have to think about is the Rh factor, which is the +/- after blood types. Rh+ bloodtypes can recieve both Rh+ and Rh- bloodtypes, but Rh- bloodtypes can only recieve Rh- bloodtypes. There are also graphic tables that will help answer this question if you're a visual learner!

I hope this helps, sorry it was a bit late!

State the differences in compositionof blood between the aorta and main vein
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

The placenta is a unique vascular organ that receives blood supplies from both the maternal and the fetal systems and thus has two separate circulatory systems for blood: (1) the maternal-placental (uteroplacental) blood circulation, and (2) the fetal-placental (fetoplacental) blood circulation. The uteroplacental circulation starts with the maternal blood flow into the intervillous space through decidual spiral arteries. Exchange of oxygen and nutrients take place as the maternal blood flows around terminal villi in the intervillous space. The in-flowing maternal arterial blood pushes deoxygenated blood into the endometrial and then uterine veins back to the maternal circulation. The fetal-placental circulation allows the umbilical arteries

Tems11 [23]

Answer:

The star could also be said to be 360 Million Million miles from the earth's sun.

Explanation:

A light year equals 9.4607 × 10^{12} km.

This is also approximately 6 Million Million Miles.

If we expressed the answer in miles, then we have to multiply 6 by 60.

This is equals to 360.

Therefore, 60 Light years is approximately 360 Million Million miles.
