4(q+3) + 3q = -30
4q +12 + 3q = -30
7q+12= -30
7q = -12-30
7q = -42
q = -6
p = -3

Sounds simple to me but may be misleading, I can't see a trick.
I think all you do is multiply each by 30.

So answer is 45ft X 37.5ft

Hope it's correct. I'd appreciate if you could let me know. Thks..

Factorise the following quadratic equations
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

In 13 - 17

Consider the factors of the constant term which sum to give the coefficient of the x- term

13

x² - x - 42 = (x - 7)(x + 6)

15

x² + x - 6 = (x + 3)(x - 2)

17

x² - 27x + 50 = (x - 25)(x - 2)

19

r² - 25 ← is a difference of squares and factors in general as

a² - b² = (a - b)(a + b) , thus

r² - 25

= r² - 5² = (r - 5)(r + 5)

Find the coordinates of the midpoint of the segment with endpoints A(-5, 6) and B(3, 2). You must show all work in order to rece
OLga [1]
Midpoint Formula = M = ( \frac{ x_{1}+x_{2}}{2}) + ( \frac{ y_{1} + y_{2}} {2})

We are given the coordinates: A(-5,6) and B(3,2)
Plug the values into the equation to get:
M = ((3 - 5)/2, (2 + 6)/2)
Now, just solve it down to get M = (-1,4).

The midpoint of the segment with endpoints A(-5,6) and B (3,2) is (-1,4). Hope this helps ALot and have a wonderful day!

Carla wants to start a college fund for her daughter Lila. She puts $63,000 into an account that grows at a rate of 2.55% per ye
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We would apply the formula for determining compound interest which is expressed as

A = P(1+r/n)^nt

Where

A = total amount in the account at the end of t years

r represents the interest rate.

n represents the periodic interval at which it was compounded.

P represents the principal or initial amount deposited

From the information given,

P = 63000

r = 2.55% = 2.55/100 = 0.0255

n = 12 because it was compounded 12 times in a year.

Therefore, function, C(t), that represents the amount of money in the account t years after the account is opened is

C(t) = 63000(1 + 0.0255/12)^12t

C(t) = 63000(1.002125)^12t

For C(t) = 100000,

100000 = 63000(1.002125)^12t

100000/63000 = (1.002125)^12t

1.587 = 1.002125)^12t

Taking log of both sides

Log 1.587 = log 1.002125)^12t

Log 1.587 = 12tlog 1.002125)^

0.2005 = 12t × 0.00092

0.2005 = t × 0.01104

t = 0.2005/0.01104

t = 18.16 years
