Answer:

The element X is chlorine.

The element M is Ytterium.

Ytterium (III) chloride is the correct name for YCl_3

Explanation:

Molecules of X_2, N = 8.92\times 10^{20}

Moles of X_2, n= ?

N=n\times N_A

n=\frac{N}{N_A}=\frac{8.92\times 10^{20}}{6.022\times 10^{23} mol^{-1}}

n = 0.001481 mol

Mass of X_2, m=0.105 g

Molar mass of X_2=M

m=M\times n

M=\frac{m}{n}=\frac{0.105 g}{0.001481 mol}

M = 70.87 g/mol

Atomic mass of X = \frac{70.87 g/mol}{2}=35.435 g/mol

X is a chlorine atom.

The compound MX_3 consists of 54.47% X by mass.

M' = Molar mass of compound MX_3

Percentage of X in compound = 54.47%

54.47\%=\frac{3\times 35.435 g/mol}{M'}\times 100

M' = 195.16 g/mol

Atomic mass of M = a

195.16 g/mol=a+3\times 35.435 g/mol

a = 195.16 g/mol-3\times 35.435 g/mol

a = 88.86 g./mol

The element M is Ytterium.

Ytterium (III) chloride is the correct name for YCl_3

For hundreds of years humans have been adding chemicals and other pollutants to the earths water supply. Can earths water ever b
AfilCa [17]
Pure water is a colorless, odorless liquid with no molecules
except H₂O in it.  You can buy it at the supermarket, or make
it at home if you have the equipment and know how to use it.
At the supermarket, it's sold in gallon jugs, marked "Distilled
Water".

It turns out that pure water tastes bleah, and you would not
want to drink it for very long.

The Earth's water cycle is constantly purifying our water.
When the sun warms the ocean's surface and evaporates
water, what evaporates and rises into the atmosphere is
pure water.  The pollutants don't evaporate.  The clouds,
the rain, and the rivers are self-purifying.  Another example
of a process of nature that makes life possible here.

The junk is collecting in the oceans.  We're lucky that the oceans
have such huge volume that we haven't been able to significantly
pollute that entire layer of the Earth and kill off all sea life yet.
But we're working on it.

Gravitational force is directly related to mass and inversely related to distance. So the bigger the masses the greater the forc

Answer:Well according to the formula :

Fg = G • m1 • m2

__________

r^2

If one were to increase the masses of the objects it will have a direct impact on the gravitational force as well, as it increase the gravitational force. It is directly proportional to mass.

Distance on the other hand is inversely proportional to the gravitational force, basically increasing the distance between two objects of substantial mass causes a decrease of attraction or gravitational force between those 2 bodies of mass.

Calculate the period (T) of uniform circular motion if the velocity is 40.0 m/s and centripetal acceleration is 20.0 m/s2.
kirill [66]
T is the time for a whole round.

centripetal acceleration = V^2/R,

20 = 40^2 / R, find R = 40^2/20 = 40*40/20 = 80 m, right?

Now, one round is L = 2*pi*R = 2*pi*80 = 160*pi

And T = L/v (distance/speed) = 160*pi/40 = 4*pi seconds, or ~ 12.57 s

kolbaska11 [484]

Index fossils are used to determine the relative ages of rock and fossils and are also used to define the boundaries between geologic periods.

<u>Option: A</u>

<u>Explanation:</u>

The fossils which are recognized as fossils guides or indicator fossils are used to classify and recognize geological or faunal periods, termed as index fossils. It must be of short vertical reach, wide geographic distribution and swift patterns in evolution. It helps to assess the rock layers ' age and helps to date other fossils found close and around them. For an instance, Ammonites were abundant in the Mesozoic period between 245 to 65 mya, they have not been found after the Cretaceous era, as they became endangered during the K-T extinction (65 mya).
