Why linked list is better than an array?
katrin [286]
In conclusion there are many different data structures. Each data structure has strengths and weaknesses which affect performance depending on the task. Today, we explored two data structures: arrays and linked lists. Arrays allow random access and require less memory per element (do not need space for pointers) while lacking efficiency for insertion/deletion operations and memory allocation. On the contrary, linked lists are dynamic and have faster insertion/deletion time complexities. However, linked list have a slower search time and pointers require additional memory per element in the list. Figure 10 below summarizes the strength and weakness of arrays and linked lists.

What do you understand by multitasking?Explain cooperativemultitasking ?
Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer: Multitasking is the ability of the operating system by which a processor is able to process multiple task at the same time.

Cooperative multitasking is non preemptive multitasking where the processor is assigned to a single process and does not preempt  until it completes its jobs or moves to a waiting state.

Explanation:

In Multitasking jobs are executed at a faster rate than as many jobs or tasks can be assigned to the processor at the same time.

In cooperative multitasking due to the non preemptive nature a single job could be assigned to the cpu at a time.

ONCE AGAIN Can somebody explain the difficulties and hardships of being a computer engineering?
Lynna [10]

Answer:

The only thing I can think of, is stress. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is when you're writing code and it decides to bug out because of some little mistake. For hours you're writing and find out that you're missing a single ";" or an indent.

When you're writing out code in order to solve a problem, you need to break it down step by step in order to actually write it. Otherwise, you'll miss a bunch of steps
