Snow tends to accumulate better on grass surfaces than concrete surfaces for several reasons. (1) A road surface is connected directly to the earth's surface. Vegetation and grass is more exposed to the cold air. It takes time for the soil temperatures do adjust to colder air temperatures.

Which of the following statements about solutions is NOT true?
NISA [10]

Answer:B

Explanation:

A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances. A solution may exist in any phase.A solution has two components. The minor component solute is dissolved in a major component called solvent.

Any option that claims against this definition is wrong.

option A:

Since the solution is homogeneous,it has same properties throughout.

option B:

Solutions contain solute dissolved in solvent not solvent dissolved in solute.

option C:

The solution can be in any phase.

option D:

Solutions are a kind of mixtures because they have no chemical interactions among the solute and solvent particles.
