The pressure exerted by a gas in a container depends on what?
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

From gas laws (pressure law and Boyles law), the pressure exerted by a gas depends on Temperature of the gas and volume of the container.

Explanation:

{ \boxed{ \rm{P \:  \alpha  \:  \frac{T}{V} }}}

• P → Pressure exerted by the gas.

• T → Temperature of the gas.

• V → Volume of the container.

• from the expression, pressure exerted by the gas is directly proportional to temperature of the gas and inversely proportional to the volume of the container.

How do you balance Sb+I2=SbI3 show work please
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

 2Sb   +    3I₂    →    2SbI₃

Explanation:

The reaction expression we need to balance is:

         Sb   +    I₂    →    SbI₃

To balance this expression, we need to assign the variables a,b and c to each specie as the coefficient that will balance the expression.

              aSb   +    bI₂    →    cSbI₃

Conserving Sb :  a  = c

                      I :   2b  = 3c

let a  = 1, c  = 1,  b  = \frac{3}{2}

   Multiply through by 2;

 a  = 2, b  = 3  and c  = 2

         2Sb   +    3I₂    →    2SbI₃

What occurs during the death of a large star to make all heavy elements?
rodikova [14]
As the star collapses, fusion occurs in the core of the star. This process compacts atoms and if the star is sufficiently massive, stellar nucleosynthesis takes place and heavier elements are formed. If nuclear fusion is unable to prevent gravitational collapse, the star will blow itself apart as a supernova, ejecting the heavier elements into space at very high speed. So space is seeded with heavier elements, to be captured by the gravitational attraction of other celestial bodies and absorbed into solar systems.
