Easy peasy

a circle centered at the origin is form
x^2+y^2=r^2
r=radius

point (5,-12) is on it
sub to find r^2

(x,y)
(5,-12)
(5)^2+(-12)^2=r^2
25+144=r^2
169=r^2
sqrt both sides
13=r

the radius is 13

When you add the degrees of all the angles in a triangle you should get 180

A= 5x+5
B= 90
C= 3x+5

5x + 3x = 8x
5 + 90 + 5 = 100

8x + 100 = 180 this is the equation
-100 -100
————————
8x = 80 ➡️ divide BOTH sides by 8

x = 10

Now plug 10 into angles A and C

5(10)+5= 55
3(10)+5= 35

A= 55 , B= 90 , C=35

During science class, Jack, Jeff, and Jill measure the length of their bean sprouts. Jeff’s sprout is 0.9 times the length of Ja
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

Jill's is the longest.

if jeffs is 0.9 times the length of jacks, his is lesser than jacks. e.g. 2×0.9=1.8. Jeff's will always be shorter. since we know Jacks is over 1, Jill's will always be taller because 2×1.08=2.16 or Jill's length.
