An innate behavior is that that is exhibited naturally in all members of a specie. These behaviors occur automatically and do not have to be learnt or practiced. The simplest example of this behavior in humans is reflex action, which is an involuntary and rapid response to stimuli. A reflex is a response that always occurs when a certain stimulus is present. For example, an infant would grasp an object that is placed in its palm. Secondly, the breathing and crying of a baby immediately after birth.
