It includes four basic components that are: A source of energy (AC or DC), a conductor that allows current to pass through ( such as copper wire), an electric device such as bulb, and a switch ( to control the circuit)

A closed circuit is considered as a complete circuit, meaning that there is continuous flow of electrons and electrons can flow all the way around from one end of a power source (such as battery) to the other end through conductor ( wire).

The circuit is completed on closing the switch, thus, light bulbs in the circuit.
