How does deforestation lead to helping conservation?
Nitella [24]

Answer:

Deforestation leads to the loss of biodiversity and of indigenous tribes’ homes. Deforestation also affects billions more people around the world indirectly, through its impact on climate change, water and nutrient cycling and food availability. The world’s benefit from conservation far outweighs the costs to the owner, such as the profit they lose by not logging. It would thus make sense for the wealthier North to simply pay the tropical countries in the South to conserve and protect their forests.

hope this helps

If a red-flowering plant was crossed with a white-flowering plant what would the phenotypes of the offspring be?
dem82 [27]
Well if both are dominate colors the phenotype of the offsprings would be pink or spotted. if the red flowering plant was dominate and the white flowering plant is recessive then the phenotype would be 100% red, they would just be the carrier of the white color. if the white flower is dominate and the red is recessive the flowers phenotype would be 100% white, but be carriers of the red color.

Bipedalism in humans, when compared to knuckle walking in the African apes, represents what type of process or trait?
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer: A. ancestral trait

Explanation:

Bipedalism can be define as a form of terrestrial locomotion, in which the organism moves with the help of two rear limbs or legs. Typical bipedal movements includes the hoping, running and walking. The evolution of the human bipedalism occurred in primates in about 4 million years ago with Sahelanthropus (oldest human ancestors or African Apes). The human ancestor Sahelanthropus led to the morphological alterations in the human skeleton including changes in the bones such as size of the bones of the foot, knee size, shape and orientation of the vertebral column, and leg length. All these changes contributed to the bipedalism.
