Answer:

Ok, so I used Mathaway to fingure out that Z is 19 but this is not your final answer, you need to multiply 19 with x and y.

So;  x = 24. y = 15.  put in your z=19 and then multiply.

Z = 19 × 24 and divide by 15

Your answer should be Z = 30.4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let me know if this helps you wolf!

bye :)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If two variables are directly proportional, it means that an increase in one variable will cause a corresponding increase in the other variable.

If two variables are inversely proportional, it means that an increase in one variable will cause a corresponding decrease in the other variable.

The variable z is directly proportional to x, and inversely proportional to y. If we introduce a constant k, the equation would be

z = kx/y

When x is 14 and y is 10, z has the value 26.6. It means that

26.6 = 14k/10

Cross multiplying, it becomes

26.6 × 10 = 14k

266 = 14k

k = 266/14

k = 19

The equation becomes

z = 19x/y

When x = 24, and y = 15, the value of z would be

z = 19 × 24/15

z = 30.4

Ann uses 3/4 cup pecans to make 2 dozen banana muffins. How many cups of pecans would she use to make 5 dozen muffins
Lisa [10]

Answer:

1\frac{7}{8}cups

Step-by-step explanation:

2 dozen muffins = \frac{3}{4}cups

5 dozen muffins = \frac{5}{2} × \frac{3}{4}cups

                           = \frac{15}{8}cups

                           = 1\frac{7}{8}cups

  • ΔABC  ~ ΔEFC by AA similarity

<u>Ratio of corresponding sides is same. Get the equation below and solve for x:</u>

  • EC/AC = CF/CB
  • x/17 = (16+22)/16
  • x/17 = 38/16
  • x/17 = 19/8
  • x = 17*19/8
  • x = 40.375
