Observations and Data are FACTS. Scientists use observations and data to draw a conclusion. Observations lead to the recording of data. Scientists ask questions about their observations and then collect data to answer their questions, then they have their evidence. Opinions are not facts, they are simply beliefs or value judgements. Then the scientist should repeat the experiment the results from different scientists should be similar- if the results are not similar and consistent then the experiment must be done again. <span>

Answer:

Scientists can ensure their results are reliable by making multiple observations and repeating trials during experimentation. They should also use proper units to communicate with other scientists, and make sure the experiment is repeatable

A horizontal spring with spring constant 950 N/m is attached to a wall. An athlete presses against the free end of the spring, c
OLga [1]

Answer:

66.5N

Explanation:

F = kx

Where F = force

K = spring constant

x = compression

Given

K = 950N/m

x = 7.0cm

F = ?

First convert the compression to meters .

7.0cm = 7.0 x 0.01

= 0.07 meters

Therefore

F = 950 x 0.07

= 66.5N

Two pianos each sound the same note simultaneously, but they are both out of tune. On a day when the speed of sound is 349 m/s,
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

Time period between the successive beats will be 0.1703 sec

Explanation:

We have given speed of the sound v = 349 m/sec

Wavelength of piano A\lambda _A=0.766m

Wavelength of piano  B\lambda _B=0.776m

So frequency of piano A f_1=\frac{v}{\lambda _1}=\frac{349}{0.766}=455.61Hz

Frequency of piano B f_2=\frac{v}{\lambda _1}=\frac{349}{0.776}=449.74Hz

So beat frequency f = 455.61 - 449.74 = 5.87 Hz

So time period T=\frac{1}{f}=\frac{1}{5.87}=0.1703sec

So time period between the successive beats will be 0.1703 sec

If you are stopped, then get on a bike and accelerate 2 m/s/s south, what us your final velocity after 3 seconds? Please Explain
olga_2 [115]
Vf = Final velocity.
Vi = initial velocity
a = acceleration.
t = time

Vf = Vi + at

Vf = 0 + (2 m/s^2)(3s)

Vf = 6 m/s south

A particular car has a weight of 9500 N. What is the mass of the car? 9500 kg 95000 kg 950 kg 2160 kg
Ivenika [448]

950kg. It is W=mg. therefore, mass= W/g which is W/10

=9500/10

=950
