Since r=h/2 and V=(hpr^2)/3

V=(ph^3)/12

V(15)=281.25p and since V=10t, t=28.125p

V=(ph^3)/12

dV/dh=(3ph^2)/12=(ph^2)/4 and since V=10t, dV/dt=10

(dh/dV)(dV/dt)=dh/dt=12/(3ph^2)*10

dh/dt=120/(3ph^2) and we want the rate when h=15 so

dh/dt(15)=120/(675p)

dh/dt=0.05658 ft/min

What is the surface area of the figure shown?
natta225 [31]

Answer:

The surface area of given figure = 264 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given figure we can see that, a square pyramid mounded on a cube

The side of cube = 6 cm

Base of pyramid is one face of cube.

Slant height of pyramid = 7 cm

Total surface area = (5 * one face of cube ) + (lateral surface area of pyramid)

To find the total surface area

lateral surface area of pyramid = 4 * one face area of pyramid

One face area of cube = side² = 6² = 36

One face area of pyramid = bh/2 = (6 * 7)/2 = 21 cm²

Lateral surface area of pyramid = 4 * 21 = 84 cm²

Surface area = (5 * 36) + (84) = 264 cm²

Therefore surface area of given figure = 264 cm²

Susan will rent a car for the weekend. She can choose one of two plans. The first plan has an initial fee of $70 and costs an ad
swat32

Answer:

350 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the miles driven

The cost with the first plan will be represented by 0.40x + 70

The second plan will be represented by 0.60x

Set these 2 expressions equal to each other and solve for x:

0.40x + 70 = 0.60x

70 = 0.20x

350 = x

So, Susan will have to drive 350 miles for the cost to be the same
