Previous research shows that some human populations living at extremely high altitudes have larger lungs. Research also shows th

at at high elevations the oxygen concentration in the air is lower, and people in these areas are at risk of not getting enough oxygen.
Required:
a. Generate a hypothesis about why people in high altitudes have larger lungs.
b. Describe the type or types of data you would ideally collect to test this hypothesis.

Answer:

People in high altitudes have larger lungs as compared to lower altitudes.

Explanation:

Those people who lives at high altitudes have larger lungs in order to reduce the excessive ventilation of the lungs. There is shortage of oxygen at high altitudes because oxygen is a heavier gas so for storing more oxygen in the lungs the volume of lungs increases. Those people who lives at high altitudes have higher capacity of lungs as compared to people who lives at low altitude. To test this hypothesis we have to collect the data of two types of people such as people who lives at high altitude and people who lives at lower altitude. If the data shows larger lungs of people who lives at high altitude so our hypothesis is correct.

Which muscle extends the knee, laterally rotates the tibia, aids in abduction and medial rotation of the femur, and tautens the
lapo4ka [179]

The popiletus muscle is the muscle that extends the knee , laterally rotates the tibia.

The popliteus muscle is a little muscle that extends the knee and form muscle the floor of the popliteal fossa. It is part of deep posterior leg muscles, that rotate laterally tibialis posterior, flexor digitorum longus and flexor hallucis longus.

The popliteus muscle extends to the knee joint. It is formed from the femur and the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus, and also extend to the proximal tibia.

The popliteus muscle help to function in an gait cycle by causing the flexion of the extended (“locked”) knee.

Therefore, The popiletus muscle is the muscle that extends the knee , laterally rotates the tibia.

What have you learned about earth and it’s solar system
stira [4]

When the solar system settled or formed into it's current 4.5 billion years ago, the earth was formed when gravity pulled swirling gas and dust in to become the third planet from the sun. Like its fellow terrestrial planets, Earth has a central core, a rocky mantle and a solid crust. The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest are the eight planets, with the remainder being smaller objects, such as the five dwarf planets and small Solar System bodies.
