Answer:

150 and 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

Supplementary angles are angles that when added up equal 180

Which can be shown by

x + x = 180

Since one has to be 5 times bigger we put a 5 in front of one of the x's

5x + x = 180

5x is an angle and x is the other

Now we solve for x

5x + x = 180

Combine like terms

6x = 180

Divide by 6

x = 30

Now we put that into each angle

5(30) = 150

30

The answer is 150 and 30

Hope this Helps!

Hello!

Answer:

Each angle; the answer is 30 & 150

Step-by-step explanation:

So let say that the supplement is ‘X’.... You want to find the angle of 5x

Therefore, 6x=180 (X=30)

Since we found out one angle out which is 30.

Now you find 5x.

5x30 and you will get 150.

So the angles of each is “30” and “150”.

Hope this helps!

Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

56 problems

Step-by-step explanation:

So we already know that the answer is: 56. However, a good help is knowing how to obtain this answer from the data provided.

Tony's quiz had 80 questions

Tony correctly answered 70% of them.

We can always write a percentage amount as a ratio by dividing the amount by 100.

70\% = \frac{70}{100} = 0.7.

This means that for every 100 questions, tony will respond correctly 70.

So, if Toni did a questionnaire of n questions, the amount that will answer correctly is calculated by the following expression:

C = n*\frac{70}{100}

If n = 80 then:

C = 80 * \frac{70}{100}\\\\C = 56

b.2x = 12 (by comparing the corresponding element)

x = 12/2

x = 6

3y = 12 (by comparing the corresponding element)

y = 12/3

y = 4

mean = sum of data / no of data

4+7+5+9+11+6 / 6

42 / 6

7

mean = 7

to find median arrange the data from ascending to descending order (from smallest to biggest)

data = 3,4,6,8,10,12

median = (N +1)/2 (N means no of data )

=6 + 1/2

=7/2

=3.5

=3 th term + 4 th term /2

=6 +8 / 2

=14/2

=7 median = 7

to find value of theta

90° + 50° + theta = 180° (sum of interior angles of a triangle)

140° + theta = 180°

theta = 180° - 140°

theta = 40°

therefore theta = 40°

Hope this helps u !!

School X and school Y play each other in a competition school x has eight morepoinys than school y. School x has three times as
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

School X: 8 points School Y: 2.6̅ or 6 repeating.

Step-by-step explanation:

When you know that School X has 8 points, and School Y has 3 times less, you have to divide 8 by 3. When you do that, you get 2.6̅, or 2.6 repeating, which means that you have 2 that goes into 3 goes into 8 3 times, because 3 x 3 would be 9, which is bigger than 8. Anyway, when you divide again because you have to add a decimal point after the number to keep dividing, you keep getting 6. it's never going to change, because thats what 6̅ is. 6 REPEATING.

I hope this helps! ;)

The radius of a quarter circle is 3 what is the quarter circle's perimeter?
slava [35]

Answer:

21.42

Step-by-step explanation:

Imagine it as a full circle. 3 x 4 will give you the diameter of a full circle, which is 12. circumference = pi x diameter. so 12 pi (we can work that out later). now for the quater circle, divide it by 4, so 3 pi. Then you have the 2 extra edges which are both 2r, so 6 each. finally, you have 3 pi plus 12 which = 21.42
