Step 1:Draw lines to represent the first set of options in the question (in our case, 3 factories). Label them (our question list A B and C so that is what we’ll use here).

Step 2: Convert the percentages to decimals, and place those on the appropriate branch in the diagram. For our example, 50% = 0.5, and 25% = 0.25.

Step 3: Draw the next set of branches. In our case, we were told that 70% of factory A’s output was passenger. Converting to decimals, we have 0.7 P (“P” is just my own shorthand here for “Passenger”) and 0.3 NP (“NP” = “Not Passenger”).

Step 4:Repeat step 3 for as many branches as you are given.

Step 5: Multiply the probabilities of the first branch that produces the desired result together. In our case, we want to know about the production of passenger places, so we choose the first branch that leads to P.

Step 6: Multiply the remaining branches that produce the desired result. In our example there are two more branches that can lead to P.

Step 6: Add up all of the probabilities you calculated in steps 5 and 6. In our example, we had:

.35 + .0625 + .0625 = .475

That’s it!

Answer:

52√3 ft ²

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for area of the trapezoid:

A=\frac{a+b}2h

a = Base = 11

b = Base = 15

h = Height = 4√3

Since the height is  4√3 we can turn it into a number:

4√3 = 6.92820323028 = 6.93

Now using the formula:

A=\frac{a+b}2h=\frac{11+15}2\times6.93=90.06664 =90.07

As you can see that it not a answer choice.

We can turn the answer choice into number:

44√3 ft ² = 76.21023553.. ≈ 76.20

44√3-24 ft ²=52.21023553.. ≈ 52.20

60√3 ft ² = 103.92304845.. ≈ 103.90

52√3 ft ² = 90.06664199.. ≈ 90.07

Thus, the answer is 52√3 ft ²

Sue is two years older than chris. jim is 4 years older than sue. their ages total 68. how old is sue
zzz [600]
We will start with Chris's age, since Sue is older than him and Jim is older than Sue.  Chris is the youngest. We will say Chris's age is x.  If Sue is 2 years older than Chris, Sue is x + 2.  Jim is 4 years older than Sue, so Jim is 4 + x + 2, or x + 6.  The total of their ages is 68, so x + x + 2 + x + 6 = 68.  Simplifying we have 3x + 8 = 68.  3x = 60, so x = 20. Chris is 20, Sue is 22, and Jim is 26.  Those numbers do in fact total 68.

Answer:

A.   2,552,129 m^3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a pyramid = 1/3 * height * area of the square base

=  1/3 * 146 * 229^2

= 2552129 m^3.
