It is called Fluid Mosaic Model. It describes the structure of the plasma membrane as a mosaic component. The structures such as phospholipids, protein, carbohydrates and cholesterol gives the fluid like character of the plasma membrane.

You cannot always study biology without paying attention to other sciences as well, because they are so interconnected. For example, history and biology are connected - in biology, you study evolution, which is how beings evolved through history. Also, physics is important to biology - various chemical process that take place in both humans and other living beings is what both chemistry and biology study. Geography and biology are also closely-knit, given that geography has to do with the Earth and its ground on which plants and other living beings exist.
