Answer: The green house gases plays an important role in controlling the overall temperature of the earth. A small increase in the composition (in terms of ppm/ppb) of these green house gases in the atmosphere, such as CO2, water vapour, methane, CFC etc can lead to a subsequent increase in the earth's average temperature, which could be sufficient enough for the melting of the ice at Antarctica.

Thus , it will also be affecting the biosphere as the sea level will rise, surface temperature will increase and life would be difficult to sustain.

  • Note- ppm stands for parts per million

ppb stands for parts per billion

Suppose oxygen was much less electronegative than it is, so that hydrogen-oxygen bonds were much less polar and hydrogen bonds c

The properties of water that most likely change by the above inferences are:

  • Its boiling point would decrease.
  • Its melting point would increase.
  • Water vapor would be denser than liquid water.

What do you mean by hydrogen bonds?

Hydrogen bonds may be defined as interactions involving a hydrogen atom located between a pair of other atoms having a high affinity for electrons.

According to this hypothesis, the property of water may get deflected and new properties are assumed to a large extent.

Therefore, the above are the statements that best describe the properties of water that are altered.

The net number of ATP produced after substrate level and oxidative phosphorylation
klasskru [66]

Answer:

Four (4)

Explanation:

Two ATP molecules are required to start glycolysis (from glucose), and four are generated by substrate-level phosphorylation. An additional two NADH molecules are generated, which can be used to generate another three to five ATP molecules through the electron transport chain in the mitochondria.
