Brianna is a 30-year-old woman who lives in a very low-SES neighborhood and is raising her two children alone. Within a mile of

her apartment, there are several fast-food restaurants and some convenience stores. Like many of her neighbors, Brianna is obese and her children are overweight. What makes Brianna and her children typical among low-SES families?

Explanation:

Brianna has very low socioeconomic status and she is rising two children on her own. In her neighborhood there are many fast food restaurants and convenience store.

She is obese and her children are over weight because fast food are most convenient and least expensive so belonging to low SES group, it is easily for her to buy these food as compared to that of healthy fruits and vegetables which is more expensive.
