Denial is the stage where one might think that there is no meaning of life , life makes no sense. One starts to deny the news and starts being numb.
In this stage a person does not lives in a actual reality he lives in a preferable reality. The body thinks that the news is not true there might be some miss-happening and it will be okay.
Once the denial and shock is over the body starts healing, the suppressed feelings come into action.
