Answer:

No the dictionaries are not outdated  because we use it on a regular basis in our day to day life.

New words are added in the vocabulary every day and the we need to known about the meaning of the words.

Though with changing time the we have been shifting towards the text dictionary to online dictionary for the meaning of the words and for knowing new words.

Hence, the it can be said that the dictionaries are not outdated they are still of equal importance as they were earlier.
