A habitat is a part of the ecosystem, while a niche is everything about the ecosystem.

A niche is what the animals do by ecosystem, like how it works instinctively and how they all help each other and a habitat is just where it is and what it's composed of.

A ball is shot from the ground straight up into the air with initial velocity of 42 ft/sec. Assuming that the air resistance can
Volgvan

Answer:

Maximum height of the ball, h(t) = 27.56 m

Explanation:

It is given that, a ball is shot from the ground straight up into the air with initial velocity of 42 ft/sec.

The height of the ball as a function of time t is given by :

h(t)=h_o+v_ot-16t^2

h₀ is initial height, h₀ = 0

So, h(t)=42t-16t^2 .........(1)

For maximum/minimum height,  \dfrac{dh(t)}{dt}=0

42-32t=0...(2)

t = 1.31 s

Differentiating equation (2) wrt t

h''(t) = -32 < 0

So, at t = 1.31 seconds we will get the maximum height.

Put the value of t in equation (1)

h(t)=42\times 1.31-16\times (1.31)^2

h(t) = 27.56 m

Hence, this is the required solution.

A field researcher uses the slow-motion feature on her phones camera to shoot a video of an eel spinning at its maximum rate. Th
posledela

Answer:

\alpha=(1/120)*14*360=42degrees

Explanation:

Eels have been recorded to spin at up to 14 revolutions per second when feeding in this way

So the angle the eel rotate is going to be

Camera record 120 frames per second

time taken for 1 frame record

t_t= 1/120 seconds

eel rotates

\alpha_1=14rev *360degrees in 1 second

so:

eel rotetas \alpha=(1/120)*14*360=42degrees

A water skier has a mass of 79.0 kg and accelerates at 1.40 m/s2. What is the net force acting on him? F = ___ N
marysya [2.9K]
The answer is 111.

Using Newton's Second Law, F=ma, plugging known values in we get:

F = (79kg)(1.4m/s^2) = 110.6N ≈ 111N
