Answer:

Option (c) is correct.

Explanation:

Given that,

Face and market value of debt = $12,000

Coupon rate = 6 percent

Earnings before interest and taxes(EBIT) = $2,100

Tax rate = 30%

Unlevered cost of capital = 11.7%

Value of unlevered firm (VU):

= EBIT × (1-Tax) ÷ Cost

= [$2,100 × (1 - 0.3)] ÷ 0.117

= $1,470 ÷ 0.117

= $12,564.10

Value of levered firm:

= Value of unlevered firm + (Tax × Market value of debt )

= $12,564.10 + (0.30 × $12,000)

= $16,164.10

Value of equity:

= Value of levered firm - Debt

= $16,164.10 - $12,000

= $4,164.10

Return on Equity:

= Unlevered cost of capital + [(Unlevered cost - Coupon rate) × (Debt ÷ Value of equity) × (1 - Tax)]

= 0.117 + [(0.117 - 0.06) × ($12,000 ÷ $4,164.10) × (1 - 0.3)]

= 0.2320, or 23.20 %

Which of the following is not a measure of the reliability of the supply chain?
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

Option B, Supply chain response time

Explanation:

The reliability of the supply chain represents the amount of good performance of the distribution chain. The highest priorities for supply chain practitioners are rising trust, decreased inventory and market readiness.

The overall response time for the supply chain is the capacity of the supply chain to react to market demand rapidly. When a market demand transition is observed, the supply chain has to stabilise.

The response time of the supply chains is sometimes characterised by minimal changes in market demand.

Examples of operations in the supply chain involve processing, manufacturing, architecture, development, shipping and transportation.

Answer:

The answer is: John Akers would have probably fired the player and made the video public.

Explanation:

Akers firmly believed that ethics were fundamental to economic competitiveness. He argued that without ethical behavior, individuals, corporations and society as a whole couldn´t be economically competitive.

So in this case, he would have simply terminated the players contract without regarding any of the potential downsides for the team.

All of the following statements are correct when referring to process costing except:Multiple ChoiceCosts are accumulated by dep
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

Process costing would be appropriate for a jeweler who makes custom jewelry to order.

Explanation:

Product costing is defined as the process by which the best costing method is chosen to suit a particular product.

There are three main types: process costing, specific order costing, and service costing.

Process costing is a method that determines the cost incurred at each stage of production. It is best used for processes that are repetitive such as manufacturing plants.

However a jeweler who makes custom jewelry to order will most appropriately be served by a specific order costing.

This involves costing according to distinct jobs or contracts.

There is no specific or repetitive process, rather the job is usually carried out according to specific needs of a customer.
