The answer is; Dead Zone

These areas have anoxic condition means they have very little to zero dissolved oxygen hence cannot support marine/aquatic life. This is as a result of eutrophication  caused by algae blooms. This phenomenon is brought about by pollution of these water reservoirs. These algae bloom take up all the oxygen in the water during their mass decomposgion hence leave no dissolved oxygen for the rest of the marine life.

Pick the answer that best evaluates the following statement: "It has been said that land animals can't exist without plants but
creativ13 [48]

Answer:

c. This statement is true because plants are able to convert sun energy into food energy and animals must get their energy from plants or other organisms that eat plants.

Explanation:

Green plants are autotrophs. They synthesize their food in the presence of sunlight, using carbon dioxide gas and water. Whereas animals are heterotrophs, they cannot make their food but use food prepared by green plants. Thus, plants are able to convert sun energy into food energy and animals must get their energy from plants or other organisms that eat plants. The statement is true.
