First let's find the number of patients checked in:
x = (130)0.70 \\ x = 91
we know that 91 patients were checked in, so we can find how many were not:
z = 130 - 91 \\ z = 39
39 patients were not checked in for the flu.

<em>39!      </em>

Explanation:

70% of 130 is 91

70 x 130/

100

= 91 you do 70 time 130 divided by 100 which gets you to 91 so that means 91 patience have the flu to find how many don't have the flu you subtract 130-91 that gives you 39!

Meth Barie's ice cream shop wants to decide whether to introduce a new ice cream flavor. They randomly selected 15 customers at
Marianna [84]

Answer:

Meth Barie's ice cream shop should not introduce the new ice cream flavor.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Population mean, μ = 4.01

Sample mean, \bar{x} = 4.4

Sample size, n = 15

Alpha, α = 0.1

Sample standard deviation, s = 1.6 minutes

First, we design the null and the alternate hypothesis

H_{0}: \mu \leq 4.01\\H_A: \mu > 4.01

We use one-tailed t test to perform this hypothesis.

Formula:

t_{stat} = \displaystyle\frac{\bar{x} - \mu}{\frac{s}{\sqrt{n}} }

Putting all the values, we have

t_{stat} = \displaystyle\frac{4.4 - 4.0}{\frac{1.6}{\sqrt{15}} } = 0.968

Option B) 0.968

Rejection region:

Now, t_{critical} \text{ at 0.10 level of significance, 9 degree of freedom } = 1.345

So the rejection region would be a value of t-statistic greater than 1.345.

Option B) t > 1.345

Conclusion:

Since,

t_{stat} < t_{critical}

We fail to reject the null hypothesis and accept the null hypothesis. Meth Barie's ice cream shop should not introduce the new ice cream flavor.

ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer: 8/35.

Step-by-step explanation: Since 1/5 and 2/7 is not equal, you would need to find a common denominator. The common denominator would be 35 = 7/35 + 10/35. After you add you will get your answer. I hope this helps. ;)

What is the measure of the angle at the tail end of the kite? if the top area is where its pointed is 122?
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

The angle is 58 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

See attachment for kite

Required

The angle at the tail end

Represent this angle with x.

From the attached kite, we have:

1 angle = 122

2 angles = right-angled

So, we have:

x + 122 +90+90 = 360 --- sum of angles in a kite

x + 302 = 360

Solve for x

x =- 302 + 360

x =58^\circ
