Answer:

a. The model fails to show the gentrification of neighborhoods as the upper classes start to take over poorer neighborhoods.

Explanation:

The concentric zone model was the first one to give an explanation of distribution of social groups in urban areas.

This model divides urban areas in different zones:

 1. Central business district: This is the center of the urban area where the central business district is located. It has the highest land value. It has high accessibility via transport networks.
 2. Transition Zone: Is the mixed residential and commercial area. There is a wide range of activities taking place like cafe, old buildings, mixed land use.
 3. Working class zone: Area used for residential purposes. It has better conditions than the transition zone.
 4. Outer suburbs: This zone has bigger houses and new developments which are occupied by the middle class. There are better facilities available to residents in this area (malls, shops, parks)
 5. Commuter zone: Peripheral area which results in the highest commuting cost compared to the other zones.

The conflict theory states that there is a constant struggle between the rich and the poor and the rich people will protect the resources they have access to making it more difficult for the poor to have access to those same resources.

Conflict theory focuses in the differences between poor people and rich people.

We can see that the Concentric Zone model doesn't mention the differences between poor and rich in any of the zones.

Thus, a critic that a conflict theorist could do would be that the CZM fails to show the gentrification of neighborhoods as the upper classes start to take over poorer neighborhoods.

What changes did Henry II make to the English legal system and how did these changes affect feudalism?
Keith_Richards [23]
He strengthened royal courts by having the jury formally accuse a person of having committed a serious crime. He introduced the courts that were governed by the King and that would put subjects on trial, which weakened the feudal lords who had that power earlier.
