What is the range of y=log^2(x-6)
Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

y\geq 0 or [0, \infty)

Step-by-step explanation:

By definition the function

y = log (x) has a domain of x> 0.

Since the function is not defined for the values of x negative or equal to zero.

The range of this function is all the real numbers.

Since y when 0 and y\geq0 when 1\leq x

In this case we have the function y = log ^ 2 (x-6)

Therefore since the log function is squared then its range is now y\geq 0

10) Isosceles trapezoid ABCD has legs AB and CD and base BC. If AB = =
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

y=14

Step-by-step explanation:

We are told that the legs of the isosceles trapezoid are AB and CD

AB = 7y - 4

CD = 8y - 18

In any isosceles trapezoid, the two legs are of equal length.

Therefore, AB = CD

⇒ 7y - 4 = 8y - 18

Add 18 to both sides of the equation

7y - 4 + 18 = 8y - 18 + 18

7y + 14 = 8y

I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the formula

A(t)=P(1+r)^t where P is the initial investment, r is the interest rate in decimal form, and t is the time in years. Filling in what we are given:

A(t)=5000(1+.05)^6 and simplifying a bit:

A(t)=5000(1.05)^6 and a bit more:

A(t) = 5000(1.340095641) so

A(t) = 6700.48
