trench

volcanic arc

Features that will form near convergent oceanic plate boundary is a trench & volcanic arc

Explanation:

A trench is formed because at the boundary where the two tectonic plates are colliding, there so much stress such that the two plates warp downwards and form a depression all along the boundary. This is a mid-ocean trench. This is as opposed to a mid-ocean ridge that forms at a divergent boundary.

A volcanic arc – a chain of volcanic mountains along the convergent boundary –is formed because the enormous stress along the boundary causes the formation of fissures. The subdued plate, as it dives into the mantle, melts into magma that rises through these fissures. At the surface, the magma erupts violently into a volcanic mountain. Because there are many fissures along the boundary, several volcanic mountain chains will form along the boundary.

Glucokinase and hexokinase in glycolysis
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

Glucokinase or Hexokinase is a enzyme used at the first step of glycolysis.

Explanation:

 • Glucokinase is a Isoenzyme(enzymes which differs in the sequence of amino acids but catalyses the same reaction) of Hexokinase .
 • Glucokinase (hexokinase D) is present only in liver and pancreas whereas hexokinase is present in all cells.
 • In first step of glycolysis i.e formation of glucose-6-phosphate from glucose is completed with the help of hexokinase. In this step a ATP molecule is consumed i.e ATP is converted to ADP

Result: Glucokinase and hexokinase are used in the first step of glycolysis.
