Ufer ground is a method of grounding the electrical earth and it was used in World War II. This method is used in dry areas and in concrete foundations.
For a 20 ft conductor, a bare 4 AWG copper conductor installed near the bottom of a concrete foundation or footing that is in direct contact with the earth which may be used as grounding electrode.
