Answer:

so you can do the maths your self

Explanation:

isotopes are elements with he same proton number but difference in their neutron number

  • proton number is also known as the atomic number
  • mass number is the sum of the proton number and the neutron number
  • mass number = proton number + neutron number

EXTRA POINTSSS 1. A solution at 25 degrees Celsius is 1.0 × 10–5 M H3O+. What is the concentration of OH– in this solution?
AlekseyPX

Answer:

Concentration of OH⁻:

1.0 × 10⁻⁹ M.

Explanation:

The following equilibrium goes on in aqueous solutions:

\text{H}_2\text{O}\;(l)\rightleftharpoons \text{H}^{+}\;(aq) + \text{OH}^{-}\;(aq).

The equilibrium constant for this reaction is called the self-ionization constant of water:

K_w = [\text{H}^{+}]\cdot[\text{OH}^{-}].

Note that water isn't part of this constant.

The value of K_w at 25 °C is 10^{-14}. How to memorize this value?

  • The pH of pure water at 25 °C is 7.
  • [\text{H}^{+}] = 10^{-\text{pH}} = 10^{-7}\;\text{mol}\cdot\text{dm}^{-3}
  • However, [\text{OH}^{-}] = [\text{H}^{+}]=10^{-7}\;\text{mol}\cdot\text{dm}^{-3} for pure water.
  • As a result, K_w = [\text{H}^{+}] \cdot[\text{OH}^{-}] = (10^{-7})^{2} = 10^{-14} at 25 °C.

Back to this question. [\text{H}^{+}] is given. 25 °C implies that K_w = 10^{-14}. As a result,

\displaystyle [\text{OH}^{-}] = \frac{K_w}{[\text{H}^{+}]} = \frac{10^{-14}}{1.0\times 10^{-5}} = 10^{-9} \;\text{mol}\cdot\text{dm}^{-3}.

The half-life of cesium-137 is 30 years. suppose we have a 200-mg sample.
Assoli18 [71]
a) To find  the mass after t years:

we will use this formula:

A = Ao / 2^n

when A =the amount remaining

and Ao = the initial amount

and n = t / t(1/2)

by substitution:

∴ A = 200 mg/ 2^(t/30y)

b) Mass after 90 y :

by  using the previous formula and substitute t by 90 y

A = 200mg/ 2^(90y/30y)

∴ A = 25 mg

C) Time for 1 mg remaining:

when A= Ao/ 2^(t/t(1/2)

so, by substitution:

1 mg = 200 mg / 2^(t/30y)

∴2^(t/30y) = 200 mg  by solving for t

∴ t = 229 y

Force = 2.32 N<br> Acceleration = 0.19 m/s2<br> Mass= ?
Mkey [24]

mass = 12.2 kg

Explanation:

To find the mass we use the following formula (Newton's Second Law of Motion):

force = mass × acceleration

mass = force / acceleration

mass = 2.32 N / 0.19 m/s²

mass = 12.2 kg
