Answer : Ammonia has molecular formula as NH_{3}

It has a central atom as Nitrogen bonded with 3 molecules of hydrogen around it, Nitrogen has atomic number 7

The electronic configuration of N is 1s^{2} 2s^{2} 2p^{3}

The number of valence electrons are 5 in the outermost shell of nitrogen.

According to the octet rule, it needs 3 electrons to be an octet.

So, the valency of N is 3. And, Hydrogen has the valency as 1.

Therefore, three hydrogen are needed to be a stable compound of NH_{3}.

The lewis structure of NH_{3} is attached in the answer.

In the attached figure, the electrons of N are shown in dot and the electrons of H are shown in x.

Why is copper used in the manufacture of computers?
Stells [14]

IBM and others are using copper instead of aluminum in the most powerful computer chips they manufacture. Because of copper's superior electrical conductivity, this technology enables conductor channel lengths and widths to be significantly reduced.

At what temperature is water at its greatest density
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

3.98^oC

Explanation:

We usually approximate the density of water to about 1000 kg/m^3 at room temperature. In terms of the precise density of water, this is not the case, however, as density is temperature-dependent.

The density of water decreases with an increase in temperature after the peak point of its density. The same trend might be spotted if the temperature of water is decreased from the peak point.

This peak point at which the density of water has the greatest value is usually approximated to about 4^oC. For your information, I'm attaching the graph illustrating the function of the density of water against temperature where you could clearly indicate the maximum point.

To a higher precision, the density of water has a maximum value at 3.98^oC, and the density at this point is exactly 1000 kg/m^3.
