Jewish law prescribes that their deceased be buried in a shroud (a tachrichim) in simple pine box with no metal parts. Muslims,

however, do not bury their deceased in a casket, but rather in a shroud (a kafan) directly into an excavated grave oriented toward Mecca. The claim that each of these kinds of burial rites can be right would be an example of cultural __________.

Answer:

Cultural Relativism

Explanation:

The claim that each of these kinds of burial rites can be right would be an example of cultural relativism.

What this term is referring to is that the morality of how true a belief is should not be judged against the morality of another belief. A belief should be adjudged on a basis which does not pitch it against another belief.

Thus, what we are saying here is that to judge how true a certain belief is, it should be based on the person’s own cultural beliefs.

Uses and properties of Ethanol
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

USES

Ethanol is an important industrial chemical; it is used as a solvent, in the synthesis of other organic chemicals, and as an additive to automotive gasoline (forming a mixture known as a gasohol). Ethanol is also the intoxicating ingredient of many alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and distilled spirits.

PROPERTIES

Pure ethanol is a flammable, colorless liquid with a boiling point of 78.5° C. Its low melting point of -114.5° C allows it to be used in antifreeze products. It has a pleasant odor reminiscent of whiskey. Its density is 789 g/l about 20% less than that of water.
