The average number of failures can be found by multiplying .41 (equivalent to 41%) by 375. When you do this, you get 153.75 failures. Rounded to the nearest 10th is 153.8 failures; the nearest whole number, 154 failures.

If the ratio of the surface areas of two similar geometrical solids is given by 121:36, what is the
BigorU [14]

Answer:

1331:216

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the ratio of the lengths of two similar solids as a:b

The ratio of the surface areas = a^2:b^2

The ratio of the volume = a^3:b^3

We are given that the ratio of the surface areas of two similar geometrical solids is given by 121:36

Therefore:

a^2:b^2=121:36\\\implies a^2:b^2=11^2:6^2\\\implies a:b=11:6

Since the ratio of the lengths is 11:6

The ratio of their volumes = 11^3:6^3

=1331:216

The ratio of the volume of the two similar geometrical solids is 1331:126.

What do I do I can't understand it my teacher stupid
denpristay [2]
Make them all fractions over 4, so 3 would be 12/4, and 1 1/4 would be 5/4 so add them together
12/4+5/4= 17/4 then divide by 4 to reduce it, to get 4 1/4

Yo does anyone know how to do this?
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

The horizontal line is the x-axis and the vertical line is the y-axis.

Step-by-step explanation:

The horizontal line is the x-axis and the vertical line is the y-axis. It's a fact. You can graph the lines by inserting the equations using the graphing calculator, which is the tab next to the one you have right now ;)

I need to know The value of f(1/2)
Lostsunrise [7]

\huge\boxed{\textsf{a.)}\ 10}

Substitute \frac{1}{2} for x.

f\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)=5\cdot4^\frac{1}{2}

Use a^\frac{m}{n}=\sqrt[n]{a^m}.

\begin{aligned}f\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)&=5\cdot\sqrt[2]{4^1}\\&=5\cdot\sqrt[2]{4}\\&=5\cdot2\\&=\boxed{10}\end{aligned}
