So you have (2x-3)/x+4
Plugging 5x in for x gives you

2(5x)-3/(5x)+4
Simplifying you get
10x-3/5x+4
Your answer is as follows

(10x-3)/(5x-4)

What is the equation in point slope form of a line that passes through the point (−8, 2) and has a slope of 12 ? Drag a number,
NemiM [27]
Point-slope form:

y − b = m(x − a), where m is the slope and (a, b) is a point on the graph.

Here that would look like:

y - 2 = 12(x - (-8))
y - 2 = 12(x + 8)

The answer:
y - 2 = 12(x + 8)

Hope this helps.

Find the sum of the first 30 terms for the given arithmetic sequence.
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the last term of the sequence.

a1 = 8

d = -7

n = 30

a30 = 8 + (n - 1)*(-7)

a30 = 8 + (30 - 1)*-7

a30 = 8 + 29*-7

a30 = 8 - 203

a30 = -195

Sum = (a + L)*n/2

Sum = (8 + -195) * 30/2

Sum = - 187 * 15

Sum = - 2805
